Sunday Finishes
- At the WGC Match Play Championship, Henrik Stenson defeated Geoff Ogilvy in the championship match, 2-and-1, stopping Ogvily's bid for back-to-back titles in this event.
- The PGA Tour was in Mexico for an opposite-field tournament, the Mayakoba Golf Classic. And the winner was 50-something Fred Funk, who beat Jose Coceres in a playoff. Funk became the fifth oldest golfer to win a PGA Tour tournament.
- On the Champions Tour, Bobby Wadkins made a birdie putt on the final hole to beat Allen Doyle by a stroke. Wadkins went his entire PGA Tour career without winning, so I'm very happy for him each time he wins on the Champions Tour.
- On the Nationwide Tour, Nicholas Thompson defeated David Morland IV to win the HSBC New Zealand PGA Championship. It is not only the first win for Thompson on the Nationwide Tour, it's his first-ever Top 10 finish on the tour.
